I just finished reading this book few days ago. still one of my fave series :D it's the last book for the Kane Chronicles series. Rick Riordan is one of my fave authors as well. as he's one of a very shortlisted authors that i can stand reading the novels on screen :D the story was amazing, also his way of telling the story. the narration is very easy to understand and follow. well done :) the story is still about Sadie and Carter, siblings, in the mission of saving the world from the return of apophis. they're dealing with egyptian gods and history. while also dealing with their natural habit as a teenager. it's happy ending in the end, but it's not one of the cheesy stories that just happily ever after. and from the end part, i think there will be another series for this one :) can't wait!

i bought this book when i was in jakarta few months ago. i bought it because of the author's name. i thought that he's very famous and people read his books, a lot. why do i never read any of his book? so i picked it up and read the back cover. and it sounds very interesting. "everyone has their own destiny". so i bought it and just finished reading it. and i can say that it's wonderful. it doesn't speak about one form of religion, but i can see that there are many parts of God that's been talking about inside. how we find Him, how to be close to Him. any religion and belief we're walking to, we're just choosing our path to go back to Him. any road we take. we just wanna go to Him. it tells me that people are looking for a cause why they are here in the world. but as long as they're just looking for it, they seem like forget really doing something on this world. probably the answer is we don't know why we're here. and accept it. believi...

this is one of the most amazing books i've ever read. even if it's more intended to married couple, but i have gained a lot of useful information from this book. people usually have 5 languages to express their love : quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, and physical touch. every people may have their preferred love language to express their feeling. and usually, a couple may have different love language one to another. well, it's probably a simple thing, but i never know it before. and it's really helpful. after being in a relationship with a person, usually we have fights and a lot of problems. that's something we can't skip in having a relationship with someone. but in the side of loving, there's a way to make it still blooms like in the beginning. just like having a car, if we always use it but never fill the tank, it will go nowhere. same thing like having a relationship with someone, if we don't fill their love tank, first it...

not really sih. yeah i've got the job here in malaysia but i haven't got the visa and the company said it's a really hard time to get one. so yeah, pray for the best that everything will be just fine in the end. i hope the visa will be done within 2 months and i'll be back here soon. damn, it's so hard to leave such a place you've been living for 3,5 years. in the other hand, now it's time for the lazy days again. lalala~ since okay i don't have anything particular to be done. so let's enjoy the last 2 weeks i have here. it doesn't even sound good anyway but..arghhh..yeah so i plan to enjoy day by day i have here until my flight back to jakarta. hi! hemmm..so yeah i'm not in a good shape now. er..since last weeks. sore throat, cold, cough, then i'm having a quite bad migraine right now. i went to the hospital last night because i can't stand it. don't wanna go back to the clinic since..i think they gave me wrong label of medicine. so yeah, hospital we went. feeling better after 1 day. i hope it'll be okay in 3 days :D will have presentation about the tissue box tomorrow..er..later. hehe. it'll be at 10. hope it goes well :) i like the results! :D and we've prepared for the presentation too. made the video and power point. so yeah wish me luck! :D thennn we'll have a mid break next week. yay! i know there're lotsa things to do but i think i deserve few days without interacting with my computer. lately i can't stand sitting in front of it for a long time. hope i can go somewhere just to get a fresh air. yeyy :D anddd..my dream book has arrived, around the world with mouk, that one. basheer...

it's on of the series of traveling solo series by Bettina Guthridge. it's my fave muse to do illustration and also to travel and see the world. one of my fave books when i was a kid. i found it in gramedia bookstore and bought one home. and i feel in love at once i read it. the contents, the illustration and the information given. well, i do realize that i love traveling and all other different things in every different countries in the world. besides my father taught me not to be afraid of differences since i was very young.. and here i am with my biggest dream. i really wanna go around indonesia and make something like this about indonesia. about different cultures and identity in every provinces. i realize that indonesia is very rich in differences and cultures, but me as indonesian citizen even didn't have much interesting source of the topic. hopefully, i'll give them enough source to love and appreciate what we have in indonesia :)

i was opening one of my fave websites, printnpattern.blogspot.com and find this amazing book in one of their postings. and like..seriously this is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen!!! Le Tour Du Monde De Mouk ( Around the World with Mouk ) by Marc Boutavant is a children illustration book originated from france. with my big passion in illustration, how can i resist this beautiful thing?? i hope one of bookstores here have this book. the price isn't really expensive but the shipping is quite expensive though. i have seen in on amazone.co.uk and amazone.com the price is kinda the same. there're to types, paperback and hardcover. i have just finished this book this afternoon. after..around 1 week. hehe..this is the second book of the series, and it's better than the first one. i don't know if it's the translation or the story itself and the characters are growing so good. but yes, it's a good book. i can't even stop reading it when the clock stroke 3am last night. hehehe.. the main characters are still 4 amazing kids : reynie, sticky, kate and constance. they're all a bit grown up now. constance is 3,5 years old now and she's still my fave character among the rest. her character is growing so great day after days.. the book tells that mr benedict prepared a surprise journey for them in their reunion. but something bad happened to him, related to his twin brother. so once again, the children have to save him and save the world again. so the journey began. they followed mr benedict's hints that brought them into a cruise ship, train, and unnamed island. as usual the ending may seem...

so hi everyone! :D i'm just back from jakarta. spent 2 weeks there, meeting old friends, doing things. and here i am. back at my lovely room. hehehehe. i borrowed that book from my brother's girlfriend. quite thick and interesting. have been reading it for about one week before finished it just now. hehe. the main character are children, the very talented ones. there are 4 children, Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance. they're put in a really dangerous mission, assisted by Mr. Benedict to let's say it in an easy way, save the world. all of them have different abilities, but all of them are special. especially the little conny. hehehe. she's my fave character, stubborn but brave. she's the littlest and youngest but has a great courage. she's devilishly cute. hehehe. it's a quite good novel to be enjoyed..i'm waiting for the 2nd book. huehehehe..oh and i love the illustration. really nice and classic. it somehow reminds me of enid blyton's books. g...

i've just wathced this one. telling about one happy family. mom, dad, and 3 daughters. beatrice (beezus), ramona, and roberta. ramona was a pretty different kid, she had her own world, was different, had a lot of imaginations, and as free as a bird. while beezus was actually a good sister, she's just another teenage girl. sometimes difficult, but the center of the story was ramona. she and her world, her thoughts, and all her effort do save the family and their home. good movie for both parents and kids. it teaches us that passions should never die and we can actually do something, anything that we want as long as we believe in :) and this movie is adapted from a novel by beverly cleary. but it's beezus point of view in this book. and i think it's interesting. wanna read it ;)

hi! so yeah, i have finished this book in 2 days. haha. around 300 pages. i couldn't just stop reading it since the first chapter. hehe. another great story and i'm pretty much gaining more knowledge about the Egyptian gods and goddesses. it's always a really nice pleasure to read story about god and goddesses. well at least that's something interesting for me. and yes, Egyptian is different with the Greek gods and goddesses on Riordan's other series. i love them both by the way. :P nice story. i like the storyline, the characters (find that Anubis would look awesome, hehee), i just like reading this kind of book basically :D the ending is good too. a moment before the real ending is kinda..uhmm..idk, not really good maybe. but in the very end, it's great again. but still, i'm waiting for the next books. haha. the 2nd book will come out on 2011 as i read on the internet. hope it'll come sooner. ;) and yeah, Riordan has another series coming up. following...

after a really long pause reading book in english. here i go again. the newest book of artemis fowl has come out and i can't wait patiently to read the indonesian one. if it will ever be translated into one. hehe. udah lama banget ngga baca ceritanya dia. jd kangen sama si mud boy ;P ceritanya seru, seperti biasa. 2 hari dan tamat. tpi agak2 meraba2 dalam gelap istilah2nya soalnya tb2 dia terlalu scientific bahasanya @_@ gatau terlalu scientific apa akirnya bahasa inggris gue menjelek. :P dan kayanya ini bukan buku terakhir pun. semogaaaa ceritanya ngga menurun nantinya. never have a good feeling for 'sudden secuel ' like this.but yay! i read a book again :D

waktu di jakarta beli buku ini, ngga tau kenapa tertarik aja sama sinopsisnya. De Journal karangan Naneng Setiasih diterbitkan Navila. lupa harganya berapa. ehehehe. dannn ga nyesel sama sekali beli buku ini. :D ceritanya ada seorang ce tomboy dari bandung yg keliling indonesia. di buku ini tempat2nya cuma mencakup indonesia, tpi di 2 buku selanjutnya ada asia sama eropa. can't wait for those books. hehe. yg baru terbit kayanya baru ini. seneng banget baca isinya, selain bisa membayangkan betapa indahnya alam indonesia itu, pengalaman2nya juga bagus2. dia ketemu orang2. belajar dari cerita2nya mereka. bahkan pembelajaran yg dia lakukan berdua bersama alam ajah. bagus banget! :D cara ceritanya juga enak dan santai ajah. jadi bacanya juga fun. ada 1 bagian dimana gituh gue lupa. tpi ada kalimat yg bagus banget. harus baca ulang buku ini lagi.heheheeh.. dan abis ntn ini juga..clash of the titans. abis ngerampok reny. hehehee. biasa ajah sih filmnya. mana subtitlenya agak2 bego. haha. ...

i finished reading the book last night. dunno why but it looked interesting so i started to read it. ceritanya ttg 1 cowok, yg meskipun sayang banget sama istrinya, tpi ga perna bisa nahan godaan setiap ngeliat ce cakep. tpi ga pernah bermaksud buat nyerein istrinya untuk ce2 itu. bahasa kasarnya, cuma buat seru2an nambahin bumbu di kehidupannya dia. sementara istrinya, yg meskipun punya good personality, tpi selama ini ga perna pd sama dirinya sendiri dan cuma pingin ngebahagiain suaminya dengan berubah seperti apa yg diinginkan suaminya. till one day, she found herself. her true self and she actually loves herself. her life was began, but her husband's life was quite end. nah, he still got a woman but he didn't make any real commitment with the woman and still looked for another girls on the street. and yes, it happens in real life. hehehe. sometimes it's kinda hard to believe that kind of thing to be happen around us. but yes, it does. apalagi ditambah dengan keadaan jam...

jason mraz with kickin' with you ;) have just watched this movie. yes, it's great. hahahaah..it's kinda rare for me to say a chick-flick movie to be great, but yes this one is absolutely great. :) love the casts, love the plot, the settings, and also the soundtracks. wohoooo! great job! love is actually still everyone's favorite, the maybe-look-so-small-and-complicated thing that makes the world goes round and round and round every single time :) love isn't always about finding someone to be with you, it teaches you a lot of other things in life. it's a reminder for me ;) and yes JOSH DUHAMEL IS GORGEOUS!!! :P and now..i'm looking for the book :D omong2, one of the cast, yg jadi street magician mirip ariyo wahab! hahahahaha..too bad i can't find the pic :P this is monday already, and i'll heading back to jakarta on wednesday. :) have moved my left files from the laptop. hemmm still got a lot of things to do actually :P will be in jkt for around 3 wee...

yay! my report is finally ready! hehehehe. the total page is 152 without the front and back cover. hehe. quite satisfied with this one *wink2. thx to the great time i had during my internship. that helps me getting my mood together when it's scattered. hehehehe. will print it tomorrow..hope i'll find the place to print. heheh. kinda hard to find a place to do the hard cover..humm~ dan mudah2an nanti murah. hahaha. ngarep de finnn.. here's the cover of my report anyway..i made the illustration, scanned it, then touched up a little bit in photoshop, live trace in illustrator, and colored it back in photoshop. didn't expect it turned to be something like this. but yes, i love it soooo much! :D the inspiration came from my room's door in bali. it's a great hand-work! seriously! here's my newest wish list : THE GARDEN OF EYE CANDY. It's another book produced by Bigbros Workshop. i believe it's available here in malaysia. gotta got the book one day. hehehe...

baru aja menamatkan buku itu. divortiare karangan ika natassa. belinya udah sejak di bali. buat nemenin selama 3 jam di atas psawat balik ke KL rencananya. hehe. tpi di pesawat ga bisa baca dan malah melek dan bengong2. jadi baru ditamatin 2 malem lalu tepatnya. dari dulu penasaran sama novel nya ika natassa. dari pertama keluar a very yuppy wedding? agak2 lupa judul nya apa. *dan merasa bodoh karena ternyata jelas2 judulnya ada di sampul buku ini! dari awal udah pingin beli tpi ngga kesampe2an. ngeliat reviewnya juga bagus. akirnya kmaren jadinya beli yg ini. a very yuppy weddingnya ga sempet kebeli karena uda harus balik ksini.hehehe. cukup seneng baca buku ini. alurnya mungkin biasa aja. tapi masalahnya cukup oke. kadang2 tokoh ce nya agak bego dan naif. tapi ya emang ce begitu sih. hehe. endingnya cukup oke. udah bisa ditebak dari awal sih. overall boleh lah buku ini dibaca. ringan tpi ga kacangan. inti ceritanya bagus. ikutin kata hati, karena emang hati ga pernah bohong. dari san...

have just done reading this book. another good book from andrei aksana *tepuk tangan. heheeh..di dalem buku ini, you can find.. gimana susahnya idup jadi janda. punya satu anak dan kecemplung di dunia sosialis yg serba gemerlapan tpi palsu. gimana susahnya jadi perempuan yang hikayatnya selalu butuh tempat untuk bersandar. tpi kepentok sama status janda yg notabene ngga punya official man to lay down. gimana lucunya punya pembantu internasional yang wawasan dan pandangan hidupnya bagus banget. gimana ternyata masyarakat masih takut sama yg namanya perubahan dari golongan bawah. seberapa pentingnya peran seorang pembantu di rumah tpi sayangnya hal itu ngga terlalu dihargai. mudah2an kata yg tepat 'belum' bukannya 'ngga'. gimana susahnya bangkit lagi dari kenyataan pahit bahwa ngga semua cerita cinta berakhir happy ending. a really good book to read. :) gaya nulisnya enak. konflik2nya muncul di saat yang pas. deskripsi kejadian dan tokoh2nya juga ngena. dan..masih ada lan...

Baru aja selesai baca buku ini. the infamous by silvia arnie. pertama ngeliat buku ini udah tertarik sama sampulnya. abis tumben ada novel yg sampulnya kuning ngejreng. taglinenya juga bagus. 'cintai dia setengah hati, cemburui dia setengah mati.' pas liat sinopsis yg di belakang buku juga kayanya seru. ya udah i gave it a try. pas di rumah mulai baca, kok ngerasa cerita sama tagline dan sinopsisnya ngga nyambung. isi bukunya ngga seseru dan sepanas tagline dan sinopsisnya. inti ceritanya sih bagus, tapi cara menceritakannya itu, kayanya terasa datar dibanding sama sinopsis dan taglinenya. jadi wondering, kalo tagline dan sinopsis itu dibikinnya sama orang yg sama atau ngga. tapi overall bukunya masih enak buat dibaca. kadang2 bikin ketawa kalo ada kejadian yang nyerempet2 mirip sama hidup gue. heheheh. mungkin agak kebawa sama ceritanya karena tokoh utamanya sifatnya mirip gue, tanpa punya cowok perfek kaya Rafa, dan mudah2an ngga pake sahabat yang akirnya eneg sendiri sama si...
