I watched  A Star is Born without that much expectation. The hype was too much I though. And I left the movie amazed. I love the stories, the characters, the songs..it’s a great movie. One of the things I got from it is when Jackson told Ally to be true to herself. “If you are not being true to yourself out there, you’re fucked” that’s not the exact words but that’s what I remember. I believe that it’s true. One of the wisest things I got from a movie. And these days, it seems those words became truer and truer. I somehow feel the world is spinning so fast and without clear direction. The current issue is still boiling. It’s not safe yet, the economic condition worsen, people started to ignore warnings. A lot of people do what they can to survive. More businesses appeared, more things came to surface. Part of it is good. Maybe finally we have the time to get to know ourself and what we can do. I sometimes got anxious. So many talents out there, so many things to choose out there, s...

I just watched this movie today. And I’ve been enjoying watching Netflix’s original series as for me it’s like a fresh air for movie choices. Netflix’s series are more like current life situation. The issue, the actors and actresses, I like how it’s not always just black and white. Life has more layers than that.  Anyway, this movie is a process of young person to get to know themselves. What they like, what they think, what they do. It’s all simple yet complicated. Like teenager’s life. Exactly.  “Love is not pretending” is one of the sentences in the movie. Which I found very true. Sometimes we’re blinded with so many things. Sometimes we forget to be honest and accept who we are. But yes, love isn’t pretending. “Have you ever loved someone so much, you don’t want any of her to change?” 

I’ve been watching The Crown series on netflix for the past...few weeks I think 😁 it was boring at first to be honest, but then royal’s life is always interesting to follow. Even though I’m quite sure it’s half history half drama, there are many things I got from this movie. It might be a good media for younger people to learn about history. I remember how boring those classes are, not the materials but the lecturing way. I believe we all can learn something about history, or even enjoy the stories of the past. But we need better way of learning. I got myself reading more about the royal family and their history because of this series. And I’m looking forward for the 4th season to come 😉

I just watched this movie. One movie without any dialogue. Instead it uses poems narrated by the two characters. It's a beautiful movie but, not a commercial one, so you need to be in certain mood to watch it. No dialogue feels like our current situation. This quarantine time, less direct interaction with other people, force you to "talk" more to yourself and feel things instead.

Oh Happy New Year! Out of randomness I watched this movie titled Plus One. It's a light movie, realistic, and made me laugh. Typical case these days about finding the one and how...the concept we may have inside all this time doesn't really apply anymore in this reality. Or, we did pick a false understanding of what the one should be like. It also shows maybe too many of us are actually afraid of love, being together forever, etc etc etc because the ugly part of it. Even though it warms you, it brightens your day, it makes things are so much better, it may shake you, hurt you, shape you harshly, and basically everything you've known your thought might need to adjust. And nope, it's not an easy thing  to do. To let go, to accept, and to make peace. To show courage, to be brave and start over, to just have fun. I might be one of those. It's just too tiring to "keep losing", it's too tiring to get hurt. It needs a great deal of effort to tell ...

finally started to watch movies again. so here's the first one. it's a drama romantic funny movie. thing that you would like to remind yourself somehow that there's still something sweet in this world. hehe. the story is about probably everyone's question about turning back time. or forwarding your life. the guy is sweet, as always :D and there's an happy ending of course. the message i got is, again, we don't know what we've got until we lose it. and what we want, is not really what we need. especially when you're so young you don't really know about real life :D

Ola..this is the 2nd series that i finish. hahahah..the story is just adorable! the casts, the jokes, so much fun in the middle of this working life. hahaa..and i'm happy the next season is coming. yeay! :D oh well, no, i watched cashmere mafia also :D that one is great also! different setting and story but the dialog is oh so smart ;) well, i'm still working here in malaysia. sometimes feel i wanna run away. but arghhh not so easy. just did some research about visa and well, hussles. really crave to go to bali, have a pina colada in my hand and watch the sunset. life can't be more beautiful than that, can it? hahahaha :D instead, now i'm here. one of the things that make me alive is my freelance jobs. somehow it's more interesting. hahahaha..i hope everything will just run well. :)

And, after a very long pause time not going to cinema, last Monday and Tuesday I took day offs and enjoyed my 'holiday'! yeahhhh waking up at 12 on Monday is such a bliss! hahahaa.. so I went to Mid Valley and went to the theater. this movie has been up for couple weeks. but i never had time to watch, now it's time! The movie is interesting! really well done. i like the plot and all the characters. so interesting. it's basically a love story, in a very rare perspective and projections. it's basically about 1 women who loves a man so deep. that becomes an obsession. but at one point, the man rejected her. and found another girl to love. the woman (Angelique) became so angry and cursed the man to be a vampire, and everyone he loved to die. It was quite a long time ago. The scene moved to the nowadays setting. Same city, different time. Barnabas' family has became poor, comparing to those glory days when they developed the town. i watched this movie few days ago..okay last week probably. the story is so standard, 2 bestfriends, one of them wanna get married. the husband is from 'other society' so the bride has a 'new bestfriend' over her long-year bestfriend. conflict happened. their friendship was tested. and..yeah happy ending in the end. but there's something interesting in the middle. when the main character was down, she felt she had lost everything. her bestfriend, job, no boyfriend, etc etc. one of the bridesmaids taught her about life. that it'll always 'annoy' you no matter what. and sometimes, you just gotta fight it back to live. you can't just sit and let it plays you upside down. you're responsible of your own life. so get up and get things done. simple thing, but really, at times it's the hardest thing to be done. to depend on yourself. and believe that this is your life, you're the one who can do it the best, even you're the one who will cau...

just finished watching this one, okay since yesterday. hehee..it's a chick flick youngsters movie, quite nice :) it tells you to be who you are, whatever it is, wherever you come from. and nothing's gonna stop you if you wanna do something good. quite good self value. hehehe..well i watched it because i thought i'll see a lot of great scenes of paris and monte carlo, but not really. i try to google it and anything i see is much more wonderful. hahaa..but at least i'm happy to start watching movie again :)

i watched it around last week. hiphiphurrah for torrent. hahaaa..well, it might sound like another love story or whatever. and probably it is. but it's another truth that whoever a girl is, however strong she looks like, she still believes in her own fairy tale. that one day the prince charming will come and make everything beautiful. even in these days. in these crazy days. what i see is it's very real. what the girl feels, i don't know about the guy's feeling, but well it's a simple but refreshing movie for me :) too Hollywood, too cheesy, too girly, all check. but i still like it :D Dylan : Why do women think the only way to get men to do what they want is to manipulate them? Jamie : History, personal experience, romantic comedies.

and here's another movie i watched just few days ago. I am Sam. finally i watch it :D it's a very touching movie about one father who's different and not perfect, but love his daughter perfectly. the government said that he won't be able to raise his daughter alone, because the mother ran away. Sam, the father, has intelligence level the same with 7 years old human. the government took his daughter on her birthday. and Sam has to fight for his daughter to come back to him. it's another great movie about love. how actually human being needs love more than anything in their live. more than money, fame, and any other things. they need love for the most. children especially. without it, there'll be one big hole in their live. that they will probably fill with everything they think can make them happy. but they don't know what they're filling their hole with. usually it's not something good. how imperfect is the father, but he loves his daughter perfectly...

i watched it like a week ago. and it's great in its own way. it tells me that idea never fade, even the man who does it fading, the idea will still be there. in term of getting something revolutionary, it's not the man that's important, it's the idea behind him. it's the thoughts behind everything. and while you're still afraid of dying, you can't make your extra miles. you will just be there, afraid of crossing the line. when you finally not afraid of death, you can just live lively..but in every stage of human's life, even the strangest the man is, there must be love in some of his stories :)

just watched it on monday. another great movie anyway! i love the storyline, the problems, the settings, the characters, the acts. amazing. how holmes' thinking. and there are 2 holmes anyway, surprising hahahahhaa. i really enjoy watching this :) and it's good to finally touch the civilization. hehehhe..happy~ well, i had another teeth operation on monday. still had one more tooth to be taken out and it's harder than before. the dentist already said that it'll hurt more than before and yes it is. and brilliantly, when i met my friends at one shopping mall, i left the medicine at my sister's car and she went somewhere else. such a disaster! thx God my friends were there and I'm showed how much love i have and how many people do really care of me. sadly, someone who's close to my heart is the one who's breaking my heart to pieces that day. but anyway, probably we have to be in that situation to really see reality. :) well, my bro's wedding is coming a...

yes i missed the first 1 hour of the movie but i still enjoy it. hehehe. yeah it's like many other action movie but i do enjoy watching that kind of movie so :D i never watched its first 3 movies, really. hehehe. so i don't know. but from this movie, the actors were great. especially the analyze and the woman. like them :) nice ending also. wow..it's been a long time i've never been to a cinema any more. hahahaha..

here's another one i watch just few days ago. yeah simple classic romeo and juliet movie with gnomes as the character. the ending must be happy ending. just like everyone knows. but what i like from this movie is the visualisation. amazingly beautiful. the house, the garden, even the gnomes. hehe. that poster is i don't know which country version but i think that's very cute so i put it here. hehehe..

i watched it few weeks ago in jakarta actually. oh gosh this working life kinda burdens me doing few things i always do. and yes, have a boyfriend plays such a big role also. but anyway..i'm waiting for my friend to finish her work while i just finished mine, got nothing to do and kinda miss my blog. so here i am. hehehe.. this is a totally great movie with such a splendid 3d. they move like real human but it's cartoon after all. great thing to execute this kind of legend among people around the world. just imagine if they change your 'picture' of tintin to be somebody else. such a disappointment if they don't match. so in my opinion they use the right execution for this movie. the story was also great! my friend said it's following the book exactly. appreciate :) it's entertaining and exciting. can't wait to see the sequel. hehehe. my fave scene is the opening one, where tin tin and snowy was in a street market. i always love that kind of market. full o...

oh yeah hi everyone after a really really long time. what happened? i moved out from cyberjaya to oug (old klang road), started to work, went back to indonesia, came back here again, started to work, and now is looking for a new place to live. well it's really different to live as a worker than a student, both good and bad things. i can't wake up 11 in the morning, apparently with my current place to live i can't go anywhere after i go back home from work, transportation problem (quite acute), have to be in a new place with new people. i'm not the easy going queen so forget the quick progress. i mean all my coworkers are good, just..it's just me with my silent lips when i'm being dragged to a new environment. good thing is, you're working within the working hours (so far), u're being paid of what u're doing. hmmm..yeah i can say that student and working life is way different. we have different things to be thought, worried, and graced. so far i still...

and this is really great! the last movie follows the book really well so the story flow is awesome with a little bit details left. above is my favourite scene, where voldemort was trying to invade hogwarts and all students and teachers were defense their school. harry potter is not just a movie. it's something memorable for people in my age because it's like we're growing up together. more or less the main characters are the same age as we are. and the first time we knew about it, harry is at the same age also. the end of harry potter is the end of one amazing era. i hope it will remain great until later :) can't say anything that can describe the movie well. it's amazing and memorable. every scenes and characters. you'll live in my memory.. fave characters :D weasley twins!

i watched this one at genting. well, it's kinda disappointing. i love its 2 previous movies. but this one, the story doesn't make sense, the conflict doesn't make sense, and even the characters are changing so much. autobots on blood? c'mon. sam's character is changing to be so emotional with no reason. well, maybe i can understand the pressure of being fresh graduate and doesn't have a job. but er..and also the girl..yah well she's supposed to be interesting because she's beautiful and smart. but..well i can't see it really clearly. she looks like a beautiful lady. that's it. the conflict is also..weird. and all the autobots become so revengeful and harsh. er..i don't know even the battle is so repetitive. i don't enjoy watching this one. and i hope it won't continue with another stupid thing. i love transformer, don't make me hate it :\
