chocolat

i watched it last night at my friend's home, and yes it's a beautiful movie :D it tells you about a journey of a mother and daughter name Vianne and Annouk. They moved to a small town, where everybody did the same thing, think the same way or influenced to think in the same way, and seemed like going to the same direction. for me, ignoring human's right to think by themselves. well, that happened because of the mayor. he loved the town so much that he didn't believe in changing and everything else than what had been going for years and years and years.

The newcomers on the town didn't wanna 'follow the rule'. Vianne opened a chocolate shop. she served a lot of different kinds of chocolate, including hot chocolate. it's the first in time in town. not only because the smell was so delicious, Vianne also had an special ability to guess what's his customer favourite chocolate. and yet it changed many things at the town. something so small like chocolate turned to be something bigger and bigger every day.

but as all of us know, something that goes in different way, or just different than the others, have more problems in their way. same as Vianne and Annouk. the major didn't like them and how the town has changed little by little. they have to fight for themselves, and also for the people.

yes, johny deep is one of the actors in this movie. his character name Roux, is as Annouk said, a pirate. they're one community with portable home. they're actually entertainer and merchants. Roux met Vianne and they started to feel something about each other. and here comes another thing to be fought for.

in the end, it tells you that you're the one who rules your own life. not other thing, not other people. there's a hard broken way to get there, but sure you can :) and, we can't define someone goodness by what they don't do. it's about what people do, and with whom they do.

the movie have many great characters, actors and actresses, and also nice setting.
