still, creating the future
well, errmm..i'm wide awake in the middle of the night. not really wide awake, just feel the needs to spill out few paragraphs. hehehe. so..i've been thinking about what i'm gonna do after graduation. well, so far my big plan is..i'm gonna work for few years somewhere around malaysia, singapore, or coming back to bali. no jakarta please, fed up with the city already. hehehee..
then after 2-3 years, i wanna go to london and learn about print and pattern design. that's something i always interest about. a lot of details and repetitive pattern. ahh i just love that. at least, i wanna know how to do it and do something about it. found a course in introduction to surface design in city lit. £115 for 5 meetings. quite interesting..but again, pretty expensive too after i calculate it.
then, maybe if i wanna come back again to jakarta, i'll take master degree in children book illustration at anglia ruskin. i know the uni because my current uni has somekind of partnership. the thing is degree master is expensive. seriously. it'll take me around 1,5 years i guess. i've just seen the price, it's £10.500. not something i can afford easily. feeewww~ so yeah, we'll see.
well, i don't even know whether i will be able to afford everything by my own money or not. since i also have huge desire to travel around while i'm working. i don't wanna be a robot all the year long at office. well, it'll be really helpful to have a good environment of working field. but i can't imagine myself doing all the stuff all year long without any variation. i just can't do something continuously for a very long time. need something to excite myself. hehe.
i don't know when i'll go to london. or will i ever go there or life has another options for me. haha. haven't researched so much about all the subjects actually. i just feel like really going to england because i know that print and pattern is one of the thing that has fields there. look in indonesia nowadays, there's not so much thing going on there. compared to london, it's like everywhere..
and yes, master in children book illustration is something i wanna do too, regarding to my biggest dream to have one series of children book about indonesian cultures. there're a lot of provinces in indonesia, they come with different amazing cultures. that's something i adore so much, and in my opinion, it's something great to be known by all children in indonesia at first. it's important to know how rich our country actually is. culture is something i always love since i was very little. and i know that it's not so much access for children to know about it. even the material at school wasn't really appealing to know. i just hope that i can provide something 'more proper' for them. :)
there're times when i'm afraid and doubt about my future and even myself. but there're other times when i'm excited with what will go on later on. where will i go or what will i do. when will i go to some places etc. i know nothing about my future, just one thing, it'll be good :) better and better after all the storms i will face. hehehhee. wish for the courage and bravery i will need :) and also faith, that He won't leave me alone wherever i am, whatever i'm doing amen! :)
