sex and the city 2

i watched this movie few days ago. again at my friend's home. and yes, it's not really good. the story line, the dialogs, the setting is also so - so. abu dhabi is great, but nothing really special. the clothes and fashion things are also not that good. only few clothes are look good. it doesn't feel like watching sex and the city. it's like watching a normal drama movie who tried so hard to be sex and the city. humm..i don't know, just a personal opinion.

i especially don't like the story line. there's a scene when they're about to leave abu dhabi, and i think it's really offensive. maybe the idea behind the scene is good, when Samantha admitted that she had sex with a man in abu dhabi and sex is no longer something taboo to be said. yes, in america. middle east? i don't think not yet. and as someone who travels, i think it's important for us to know the rules and everything. just not to cause unnecessary problems.

well, there're few good scenes though. when Carrie gave some money to her butler to come back home and meet his wife. when they're running away from the people at the market, and finally met a modern woman society in abu dhabi. they wore luis vuitton under the burqa. they're educative and also read american books. but yeah, almost that's all. so-so..hehe..
